Welcome to BINUS Youth Festival (BYFest) 2023!
A place for every young person to develop their knowledge and skills to through actively contributing to society.

WHY BYFest?
We realized that every youth generation needs a place to explore and express their creative and innovative ideas as the first steps in making a positive contribution to society.

Social protection for the poor, especially during and post difficult times such as natural disasters, climate crises, and other socially hard situations; literacy and numeracy boosts for adolescents and adults, as well as provision of safe, inclusive, and violence-free learning environments; removal of violence and discriminatory acts towards women; better waste management systems; reduction of ozone-depleting fuel consumptions; and many others are amongst the social and environmental concerns of today’s society.

We, as the youth of the nation, are equipped with different capabilities and agencies to contribute to the betterment of Indonesia, whereas BINUS University is committed to shaping young generations who could empower and amplify the empowering the society. These two intertwining elements are here for the development of the nation, ready to take part through our annual BYFest program, with its third theme being ‘EVOLVE TO RESOLVE’, bearing the hope that everyone involved could be agents of change with hands-on solutions to problems around us.

WHAT CAN WE DO AT BYFest 2023?
BINUS Youth Festival (BYFest) is a series of events that will be a place for every youth generation to share, compete and innovate. BYFest has 3 main events throughout its series.

I. Meet The Rockstar
Sharing Session(s) by speakers from top management or influential figures, open to all BINUS University students

II. Youth Forum 
An innovation competition about ‘EVOLVE TO RESOLVE’ for all of you who have creative and innovative ideas that can be beneficial for environmental empowerment. The ideas ought to be in line with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

III. Creative Fair
An exhibition to showcase the innovations submitted by competitors of Youth Forum, in cooperation with BINUS-fostered UMKM (small and medium enterprises). All BINUS University students are invited to attend this event.
