First Year Program (FYP) BINUSIAN 2030

The First Year Program (FYP) at BINUS University is a comprehensive one-year mentoring program designed to support freshmen as they transition into university life. Currently conducted for Binusian 2030, FYP provides students with essential guidance, information, and experiences to help them adapt to their new academic and social environment. Through a series of structured activities, freshmen are encouraged to become more familiar with the university, their study programs, and the various resources available to support their journey at BINUS University.

Several key stages of the First Year Program have been successfully conducted. The program began with Pre-FYP, which introduced freshmen to their faculties, study programs, and important administrative preparations before the official activities started. This was followed by the Opening FYP, an official opening ceremony held simultaneously across BINUS campuses, both onsite and through online connections. These initial activities provided freshmen with a strong foundation and a warm introduction to their new university environment.

From August 18 to September 1, freshmen continued their journey through the New Student Experience and Transition (NEXT) and Academic Experience (AE) or Academic Orientation. NEXT provided important information about the university’s vision and mission, support systems, and basic academic skills, while AE introduced students to the four-year curriculum, department leaders, campus facilities, lecturers, and works created by senior students.

Through these activities, freshmen had the opportunity to gain a better understanding of their academic journey and campus life. We hope that the First Year Program will provide meaningful and valuable experiences for Binusian 2030 as they begin their exciting journey at BINUS University.
