Disney-Pixar Movie Night

Disney – PIXAR Movie Night was an event held by BINUS Square activists which include Medric and Alexander from Floor Coordinator, Anastasia from BSSC Senior Committee, and Teresa from Academic Ambassador on 30 January 2024. The idea of this event is to provide a selection of movies under the banner of PIXAR studio, and then watch it together with the boarders. The location for this event was at Oak room, BINUS Square and there were 14 boarders had joined. Our purpose in creating this event is to bring boarders closer together through watching movies together.

The event started quite late around 7.15 PM with an opening from Anastasia and Chris as the MC. They greeted boarders who came to the event and continued with a game session. The games were played in a group of 2 people, with a theme quiz consisting of Disney and PIXAR movies. While playing games, participants were not only guessing the character of Disney-PIXAR movies but also guessing the quotes. The group that collects the most points is entitled to a prize worth Rp 100.000 and the winners were Rayshella and Edward as one team.

Next session was the movie selection time. The boarders are given a choice to choose one of the PIXAR studios produced movies. The boarders can also eat popcorn and drink tea while watching movies with friends. We chose to watch “Inside Out” for some comedy stuff. It was a funny show, the boarders enjoyed watching it, and some even laughed.

After the movie ended, all the boarders went away happily after bonding while watching movies and filling their belly. Before they went back to their room, all committee members and participants took a photo together to mark the end of the event.
