Freshmen Seminar: Becoming a Smart & Creative Problem-Solver!

We’re thrilled to share that on Friday, December 8, 2023, BINUS @Senayan Student Support Office hosted its annual Freshmen Seminar! This highly anticipated event aims to empower our first-year students with the skills and mindset needed to excel in their academic journey. Held at the Main Lobby, BINUS JWC Campus, the seminar was a resounding success, attracting a remarkable attendance of 206 enthusiastic freshmen from various majors.

Under the captivating theme of “Becoming a Smart & Creative Problem-Solver,” we were honored to have our esteemed alumnus, Tan William Tanuwijaya, as the keynote speaker for the day. With his vast experience and exceptional achievements, William shared invaluable insights on how to tackle challenges and think outside the box when confronted with problems.

Throughout the seminar, our eager freshmen actively engaged in the interactive sessions, gaining not only knowledge but also practical advice on overcoming obstacles commonly encountered during lectures. This unique opportunity allowed them to seek guidance and learn tips and tricks from William himself, enabling them to navigate their academic journey more effectively.

The primary objective of this seminar was to equip our freshmen with the essential skills of creative thinking and problem-solving. By nurturing these skills early on, we aim to empower our students to approach challenges with confidence, innovation, and resilience.
