BSSC Talk Show “How to Build a Startup Company During Pandemic”
Currently, the world is hit by the COVID-19 pandemic and we don’t know when it will be over. However, this pandemic is not a barrier for those who want to build or develop new businesses, including young people who still have high spirits. Therefore, BINUS Square Student Committee offers a helping hand for those who wanted to build a startup business by presenting BSSC Talk Show “How to Build a Startup Company During Pandemic”.
This talk show is expected to help inspire the participants to start a startup business during this pandemic. We also aim to develop the inner talent of each participant, especially in the field of entrepreneurship. BSSC Talk Show “How to Build a Startup Company During Pandemic” was held online on May 5, 2021, with the ZOOM Meeting as its platform. This talk show ran from 7 PM – 9.15 PM with Peter Shearer Setiawan (CEO and Founder of WAHYOO) and Rama Mamuaya (CEO and Founder of DailySocial.id) as the speakers. Moreover, various materials such as what is needed in building a startup, as well as tips and tricks for starting a startup, how to do branding, the use of technology in the startup business, how to get funding, and strategy for running a startup, have been delivered by the speakers to the participants. Those materials could help them to understand how to create a new startup business. The speakers also shared their experiences in building a startup company and how they run their business.
BSSC Talk Show “How to Build a Startup Company During Pandemic” was attended by 598 participants. All the participants looked very enthusiastic because it turned out that many were present on time, even 15 minutes before the event started. Many participants were waiting in the ZOOM Meeting’s waiting room. In addition, some participants were interested and active in giving questions to the speakers at the Q&A session. Overall, the talk show ran smoothly, the participants were active, and the speakers were also happy to share their knowledge in this talk show.
